EALA MPS WANTS CONTITUTION TO BE IMPROVED


Members of the East African Legislative Assembly ( EALA ), have been advised to look reviewed the constitution of the establishment of the East African Community (EAC ), with many existing therein passed and when , as using only English , while those countries its members using the national language Kiswahili.

Speaking immediately after  finish talking to the President of Kenya , Uhuru Kenyatta , the Member of Parliament from Tanzania , Shyrose Bhanji , said the parliament  can not give them opportunities citizens of member states understand what is going on by using only one language of English .

He said they review and make changes , many will remove and keep things depending on time available, but at the same will do justice to their citizens, because many countries its members speak Swahili , so the use of English in parliament and community meetings that does not mean .

Givinh an example she said, Tanzania and Kenya  they spoke well Kiswahili while others continue to strike action in speaking the language , but Swahili is not given priority.

Find out in this session running from today , expect to pass bill will ensure Swahili is used as an official language in The parliament of the East African Community .

He said they expect the bill if passed by the member states will have to provide
civic education for the member states , so that its citizens understand going to monitor closely.

He said that even with them , the Constitution requires undergoing adjustments as other countries do , because charter  is out of  time
